SL Power Electronics launches its GB60 single output, convection cooled, wide temperature range power supply that is one of only a few available on the market to provide 60 watts of power in ultra-compact package of 2″ x 3″ x 1.35″. The GB60 family comes in four standard models ranging from 12Vto 48V approved to CSA/EN/IEC/UL60950-1, 2nd Edition safety standards with 90 to 264Vac input for global applications
The GB60S power supply operates from -10°C to 70°C with -40°C start up, eliminating the requirement for an AC heating element in outdoor applications. Moreover, the GB60 provides 40 watts of power delivery at 70°C, which is 10 watts more power output than any other power supply in its class available on the market. With no minimum load required to operate the supply and total noise and ripple at just 1%, the four standard models are fully protected against short circuit, overload, and over temperature. An overvoltage protection circuit will prevent the supply from damaging the host product.
The RoHS GB60S models are tested by third party agencies for compliance to the stringent EMC requirements for applications requiring Class B EMI. In addition, the models have more than 750,000 hours of calculated Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF). The GB60S power supplies have cUL, CE, CB, and DEMKO approval markings and feature a 3-year warranty.
